There's a new season on Yosemite National Park called "Untamed" with Eric Bana on Netflix
This series is interesting in some ways even though at times it is hard to watch because of the subject matter involved. There is one scene that I found difficult to watch because I had met people as bitter as the lady who lives in an illegal encampment who is older and dying of cancer so listening to her story reminded me of people I had met who often live illegally on Mt. Shasta. So, her story rang true to me of people who have been "Thrown away" to die by our society and civilizaton a lot.
This of course is why our government is collapsing now slowly but surely likely to be replaced by nothing at all.
However, it was interesting to see my old Friend "Yosemite National Park" in a different light than before.
However, my experience of Yosemite (like Mt. Shasta) is where I personally found God when I was 15 in 1963. I never found God in any book but in places like Yosemite and Mt. Shasta instead. In nature it is easy to find God and solace and a reason to stay alive ongoing in the wilderness because cities I find tend to be the instruments of fast or slow death more than anything else and governments also are a part of the slow death of mankind unfortunately too.
