Being able to be genuinely grateful for what you already have seems to be a generator of good fortune. However, if you are constantly angry at what you don't have if you are not careful you can fall into the life of a criminal which isn't usually useful to a person at all because of prison or death usually becoming the result of this.
However, the other side of Anger is also how I became successful in my life too. However, anger is really tricky because you cannot do harmful or illegal things usually and become successful in life where you are actually happy ongoing. I wasn't happy myself really until I was in my 30s and even then when my father passed away when I was 37 I found it very difficult to survive to even 50 after that. However, after I had almost died at 50 of a heart virus my life has been pretty good the last 27 years of my life since I had to retire at age 50 or die according to my Doctors who were specialists. So, the last 27 years I would have to say were the best years of my life. The most unhappy part of my life would be from 18 to 30 years of age for me personally.
So, anger might take you to being a success but it's more like I find I'm more intelligent when I'm angry for a valid reason. So, then I take this intelligence and begin to figure out ways forward where I am not enslaved in some situation (school or College or a bad job with a bad employer or something like this).
So, happiness for me always came from starting my own businesses or buying businesses so I could choose what I did and when in my own timing always. This is incredibly powerful to own your own business and stop being such a slave to others and usually results in you making 50% to 80% or more than working as a slave for others. However, often you cannot do this well until you are 25 or 30 years old because you have to learn to wear many hats so to speak to be successful in any business long term.
