Democracy is a form of Verbal Warfare

 Especially after World War I and World War II especially in American (the U.S.) we learned that allowing freedom of speech was helpful in allowing people to speak their mind about literally anything without being killed for their point of view by someone else.

So, especially in the 1950s and 1960s and 1970s Freedom of Speech (of All Kinds) was cherished in the U.S. (even though not universally) it was something to be worked for to prevent any more unnecessary deaths like we experienced worldwide in Europe and Japan Especially.

So, the U.S. because it was sort of "The last Nation surviving" without having battles fought physically inside it much except by Secret Agents mostly during the war were able to help Europe and Japan especially rebuild.

However, Trump is now sort of Ruining all this by sort of making enemies with the world. I'm not sure his motivation for this but mostly it might have to do with him earning money for his family through the Tarifffs (Not sure) because it really doesn't make any sense on any level logically at least why he is doing what he is doing.

So, from my point of view at least, what Trump is doing completely defies logic in seemingly trying to make all our friends enemies now and throwing away all that was gained for the U.S. and world since the end of World War II?
