Over 900 workers remain missing from Nepal Power plant near Gyirong Port

They were in the hydropower tunnels when it hit last August 26th, 2026. Thick mud buried the facilities so few were rescued yet.

At least 955 people were killed in this disaster and this doesn't include the 900 workers missing either.

Nepal has set up mass burial sites for hundreds of unidentified victims already. 

Around 4,500 people are presently registered as missing. so far.
