What's interesting to me regarding Waymo's now
Literally, this is showing what the future is bringing this last article regarding Waymo's.
However, I will not personally choose to ride in a Waymo ever unless it is an emergency and I absolutely have no other choice at the time. Because if you (or another human being) cannot steer or brake that vehicle then often you might be dead or maimed for life.
As someone who started to program computers around 1966 in college I know most of the things that can go wrong with programs whether they be standard computer languages or AI or whatever.
And will you trust your lives to zeros and ones who have no morals (unless they are synthesized) and have no real interest if you are alive or dead or become dead because of them. They are not going to Grieve your loss if they "ACCIDENTALLY KILL YOU OR MAIM YOU IN A WAYMO".
So, just remember that when you consider getting on one.
So, for now at least the main customers of Waymo Taxis are girls from 12 to 18 years of age because their parents trust Waymo more to get them safely somewhere than they do boys or girl drivers 16 to 18 years old. So, I can see the logic but I'm not sure I agree with it as a parent and grandparent myself.
