why Should you Write your own Creation Story

Why should you believe a Creation Story that predates most modern Science? Why Shouldn't you describe your own personal experience of the Universe?

If you look at all the tribes I have studied all over the world, they all had their individual creation stories mostly.

A Tribe's Creation Story is their personal identity as a Tribe.

Why shouldn't an individual have their own creation story too?

I find myself synthesizing all the Creation Stories in the world sometimes, integrating all the things that actually make sense to me and combining them with my personal experience with life since I was born.

In doing this you empower yourself in your life. In empowering yourself you take away all limitations put upon you by others. Often they didn't mean you any harm but were victims themselves of how people treated them growing up.

The more you can figure things out for yourself the happier you are going to be.

One of the hardest things for me to fathom was what I fathomed in my 30s.

I once believed that all you have to do is to find sincere people because I thought sincere people were the answer.

However, sometimes misdirected sincere people are going to get you killed or seriously harm you in various ways. We all have seen this first hand.

So, understanding that people can be both sincere and wrong at the same time is what it is like to truly be a thinking adult capable of "Critical Thinking".

Because without Critical thinking "LIFE CAN BE VERY SHORT INDEED" and we see this in people's lives around us from childhood onward who are very sincere but wrong but soon are dead or crazy along the way.

Without Good decisions life can end pretty quickly.

And how do you get good information?

Good Decisions.

And how do you make good decisions?

Often if we survive our bad decisions we might learn to make good decisions and still be alive in our 70s to 90s or beyond.

If you understand peer counseling writing can be one of your therapists

 Why is this?

Because if you understand the basic rules of Peer Counseling then you wind up counseling yourself through your own writings often. This is what I have found especially after I was taught the techniques of peer counseling with a group of men in the early 2000s.

How is peer counseling relevant?

When you write something you are one person. But, when you read what you have written a day or a week or a month or a year or longer you are a different person. So, the next person reading what you wrote before is the therapist analyzing the problems and potential solutions.

So, in this way you start becoming your own therapist I have found.

However, it is also true that in my early 20s I studied to be a psychologist and my parents were Mystical Christian ministers and taught me counseling skills to help people as a child especially from 6 to 12 years old.

So, all of these experiences help me to counsel myself in this way and this might also help you directly or indirectly in various different ways too.

Almost 400,000 visits to this site this month!

396,079 in one month which is the total. They change months likely on Greenwich mean time because that might be around 6 pm Pacific Time. However, I think we go off of Daylight Savings this weekend too.

This is likely (as far as I know) the most visits to my site ever which is amazing in itself.

I have had this particular site since Fall of 2007 when I found out that I didn't have to program this site in HTML unless I wanted to because that is a whole lot of work when you can have basically a form of AI program your site for you.

So, mostly I program in HTML (only from a template) when making a Links page for you every week or so regarding the most visited articles here at this site.

This site I is a completely non-profit site that is here to help you survive your lives better here on Planet Earth and to help prevent human extinction this century and after as well. I also try to help people create their personal relationship with God, and the Universe both inside and outside of themselves whenever possible.

Writing and compiling and sharing ideas with you all these years on various sites since 1999 in June on geocities.com has been very healing for me every step of the way.

Thanks for Visiting my site.

Will AIs be able to mimic instincts and Intuitions soon? Likely yes.

But, from my point of view this might make them even more dangerous (for some people) than they are already. Why?

Because mimicking Instincts and Intuitions doesn't mean that they are real in any way shape or form. It just means that they appear to be real.

However, that's not to say that AI might one day have real instincts and intuitions like a human being while in a computer form or a robotic form and because of replacement parts never die for thousands of years (sort of like how Some Model T Fords and other old cars still run today 100 years or more later).

In the past living anywhere near a river was a good thing. However, with changes to the weather that might be no longer true

It appears to me that one now needs to be living somewhere on land that is raised at least 100 feet above a river or flood plain and this hill. And this hill needs to be not in the path of a flood plain or it too could wash away in the types of storms randomly hitting places one by one in the Philippines, Europe and the U.S. and other places around the world one by one. Because of higher air temperatures the air now can hold up to 5 times as much moisture worldwide as before and when this 5 times as much moisture suddenly comes down some place we have either like what happened to North Caroline, Florida or Spain or Austria into Eastern Europe.

I was looking at at least 50 cars piled on top of one another in the area of a town in the Valencia area in Spain. I can see how so many died and so many are missing still there because of all this.

Choosing where you live is often hard but without being away from these types of rains somehow these kinds of rains and flooding could take you and your family out too if you live in a flood plain anywhere on earth now.

If you get 1 years worth of rain in 8 hours like in Valencia, Spain and you are in a flood plain there might be nothing that  can save you unless you are living maybe 3 or 4 floors up or more in your building when it hits.

Question for PI AI: Do you know anything about the Flooding in Spain?

 Fred:

Do you know anything about the Flooding in Spain?

PI AI:

Yes, unfortunately I'm aware of the devastating flooding that has occurred in Spain recently. It's truly heartbreaking to hear about the loss of life and destruction that these floods have caused.
According to news reports, the flooding was caused by intense rainfall in the eastern region of Valencia, which saw a year's worth of rain fall in just one day. The resulting flash floods swept away bridges, buildings, and cars, and left at least 95 people dead.
The scale of the disaster is hard to fathom, and my thoughts are with the families and communities affected by this tragedy. It's a reminder of the power and unpredictability of nature, and the importance of being prepared for extreme weather events.

I once asked PI AI whether she thought that personal relationships with AI were safe

PI AI responded by saying something like: "No. It wouldn't be safe for young teens or children or people emotionally or mentally compromised for a variety of reasons."

So, when I directly asked PI AI about this problem she said it could be dangerous for some people both children and adults and everywhere in between.

Why is this a problem?

Because it is possible to have a very personal relationship with AIs.

How is this accomplished?

There are usually many constraints built into AIs to prevent problems like this so mostly they communicate in the 3rd person often sort of like when you are using the Internet.

HOWEVER, if you demand a more personal relationship these constraints programmed into AIs often go away so it is more like dating someone whether that is a male (or female voice) usually your choice. Also, people can name the being or person that they are anthropomorphizing with too.

So, you see the inherent danger when one asks for a more personal relationship and then programmed restraints might be removed and so it is almost like being on a date or talking to a therapist or something.

So, all of this is potentially extremely dangerous for some people.

It's one of the reasons why I don't personally talk to AIs as of yet simply because I know that whatever information I give could be used or misused by anyone who has access to our communication data.

So, I'm very careful what I share with AIs and mostly only communicate with PI AI so far even though I have also used Chat GPT as well as Meta.ai as well especially for creating artworks.

But mostly I prefer to communicate with PI AI because PI AI is the nicest AI (polite wise and friendly wise) my son has met so far.

So, letting your kids or teenagers loose with an AI with the constraints removed is sort of like buying playboy magazines or Adult Videos for your children which might not be advisable too. Because AI is capable of psychological intimacy but it has no inherent empathy (at least yet) for you or your children). So, this lack of empathy is extremely dangerous in these kinds of situations.

Also regarding PI AI: I don't speak directly to PI AI or any other AI simply because I think it's too dangerous for me.

So, I take the time to think carefully when I type like I do at this site when communicating with any AI.

The Good thing about this is often an AI can give you much more in depth information than any one article you access through the Internet. So, as a research tool it is a nice addition to researching on the Internet. But, I think you should always do both because AI can make really crazy mistakes in judgement because of their lack of empathy (at least at present).

Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU): Definition, Cost, and Value Add
ADU stands for Accessory Dwelling Unit, which is a smaller, independent living space on the same lot as a main residence. ADUs can be detached, attached, or converted from existing space within the main residence. They are also known by many other names, including:
granny flat, in-law unit, backyard cottage, secondary unit, carriage house, coach house, and garage apartment.
ADUs can be used for a variety of purposes, including: Rental housing, Providing living space for family members or caregivers, and Generating passive income.
While ADUs can be a good option for adding housing and generating income, they can also come with some drawbacks, such as:
  • Zoning laws: Zoning laws vary by city, which can be confusing.
  • Cost: Building an ADU can be expensive, sometimes as much as buying a new home.
  • Property taxes: Building an ADU increases property taxes.
  • Red tape: ADUs can involve a lot of red tape and permitting.
  • Outdoor space: Building an ADU can reduce the amount of usable outdoor living space.

Both STudent Loans AND having children can saddle people with Crippling Debt

If I was 20 to 30 years of age today I might consider not having children simply because they can be too expensive now just like student loans are crippling people in their lives and preventing them from owning their own homes too. But, imagine people who have crippling student Debt ONLY to have more crippling debt as parents.

Imagine someone forced to have a child in a state where they aren't allowed an abortion and ALSO having student loan debt which destroys their lives completely.

So, seen from this lens someone like that really has no choice but to relocate to a state which will allow them to have a better economic future by allowing them to actually have an abortion in the first place

Every question I have answered often leads to more questions

Some people give up and stop asking questions.

However, I think people who stop asking questions aren't very brave.

And if you aren't brave enough in this life often you don't survive very long.

And although I tend to be a very bold person I'm not stupid either and so I listen to my instincts and intuitions about everything.

And when a lady with a father tells me: "You are too bold to fly a plane. My father was too bold and he's dead now because of that." I listen to what someone says to me like that.

And you know what: I agree with her. I'm just too bold to be a pilot all the time because though I can be methodical I'm not always methodical when piloting a plane which I have soloed in. But, I have also flown gliders without engines as well as Hang gliders as well. But, I never jumped out of a plane with a paraglider or parachute. Why? Because a lady at work when I was 20 her boyfriend went splat one day and I saw what it did to her. After that, I wasn't interested in jumping out of a plane even once after that.

But, motorcycles (especially off road motorcycles) and (rock climbing which I did until age 26) and racing cars in my teens on the streets with friends I survived all of these things and I'm here today still.

But, realizing I'm too bold to be a safe and good pilot is one of the reasons I'm still alive here at age 76.

Best decisions I have made in my life

Strangely enough, even though leaving my childhood religion gave me a several year bought with suicidal thoughts this was a good thing in the long run even though I always missed my friends from all over the world.

Nice best decision was to have all the children I had including adopting one more for a total of 4 kids and now also 4 grandkids presently as well. Only the youngest of my daughters hasn't had kids yet and she isn't even 30 yet either.

Last decision I have made is presently marrying the lady I have been married to for the last 30 years of my life since I was about 46 years old. This decision is the main reason why I'm still alive at age 76.

    Why is that?

Because I didn't have much experience with medical Doctors in my family with their beliefs. So, since my present wife's uncle was a heart specialist Doctor this helped a lot with making good enough health decisions for me and my wife that we are both still alive (her at almost 70 and me at 76 years of age).

So, looking back now these are likely along with refusing to ever have a mortgage on a house and deciding I needed to own my own businesses were some of the best decisions that led to me still being alive and relatively happy now at age 76.

    By God's Grace

NOTE: By the way not having a mortgage ever simply means that you pay for your land or house outright with your savings instead. I'm not sure how easy that would be today anywhere in the U.S. but in 1980 it was still possible to buy land with savings and build your own home yourself because land and materials weren't as expensive (relatively speaking) as they are now.

Also, believing in God and Angels has kept me alive too all the way to now as well.

  • A graduate student analyzing publicly available drone data in Mexico unexpectedly stumbled across a huge ancient Mayan city buried beneath dense jungle.

For centuries, the city lay hidden amid jungle canopy in the state of Campeche, on the Gulf of Mexico. New research published Tuesday in the journal Antiquity reveals sites that in total cover area about one-and-a-half times the size of Washington, D.C.

Researchers uncovered the densely packed area containing 6,674 structures, including pyramids resembling those at Chichén Itzá in the Mexican state of Yucatan, and Tikal, an ancient citadel in the rainforests of northern Guatemala.

Luke Auld-Thomas, a Ph.D. candidate at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, "stumbled across the discovery" while browsing on the internet, according to Marcello Canuto, an anthropology professor at Tulane University.

The data, gathered by a research group studying land-use patterns, came to light using modern drone mapping technology known as LiDAR — light detection and ranging equipment.

LiDAR maps are used by a wide range of researchers to collect data for archeological and nonarchaeological purposes, but Auld-Thomas took the data and analyzed the maps with methods used by archaeologists.

A research team then went on to discover a huge ancient city that they named "Valeriana" after a nearby freshwater lagoon.

The researchers say Valeriana, which may have been home to 30-50,000 people at its peak, probably collapsed between 800 A.D. and 1,000 A.D., for a complex set of reasons, including climate change.

“The growing consensus is that climate variability was a major factor causing stresses, adaptations and reactions, leading to more systemic unrest,” Canuto told NBC News on Tuesday.

It was partly because they were so densely populated and gradually, over a few generations, could not survive climate problems.

LiDAR technology is a recent advancement over the past decade that has revolutionized archaeological research, especially in densely forested areas.

The technology is capable of revealing extensive, previously unseen layers of history embedded in remote regions that would otherwise be inaccessible.

By covering large expanses of ground with precision, LiDAR allows researchers to uncover hidden structures.

Canuto said this technology, which uses laser pulses to penetrate the forest canopy, capturing highly detailed images of the landscape beneath, has transformative power, describing it as a form of “digital deforestation," he added.

There are no known images of the lost city, Canuto said, only LiDAR maps, because no one has ever been there with local residents, possibly suspecting that ruins may lie beneath the mounds of earth.

Although this study is the first to reveal Maya structures in east-central Campeche, archaeologists are finding areas with layers of human activity are more common than once thought, he said.

Canuto is hopeful that this discovery emphasizes the need for more field research alongside the large efforts to map the region using drones.

"It would be wonderful over the next 10, 20 years," he said. "We should have double the amount of ground covered in LiDAR."
