The Paralysis of the State

I would say that around the year 2000 was the last time that the American people could afford the present benefits retirement packages for public employees nationwide. It's not that these retired public employees don't deserve these packages. It is that Federal and State governments simply can no longer afford to pay these retirement packages the way the once could when our country was actually making enough in taxes to be able to pay these packages. So public works projects that could actually be afforded by Federal and State governments are now suddenly unaffordable because of the lack of tax revenue because of collapsing businesses in the U.S. and dropping property values and foreclosures. Unless something gives the paralysis will continue until paralysis becomes gridlock becomes the end of us. This is neither a Democratic or Republican problem but a survival of our nation problem.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
