I found this article with previous commentary by me and my conclusion that most cancer appears to be caused by processed food and new (previously unknown) chemical properties and combinations getting into the food we eat. But now, since 1945 there is also low level nuclear radiation in everything as well. The Fukushima disaster also increased world wide long term exposure for the next 25,000 years of nuclear weapons grade fuel which will continue to touch all life on earth without breaking down from one of the reactors that melted down there as well. However, processed food so far appears to be the biggest culprit of cancer so far. I'm thinking that since genetically modified foods are killing people more than they are making people sick that they are not necessarily a cancer causer because people allergic to genetically modified foods usually just die within a few months from:
Eosinophil count - absolute
end quote from:
http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/003649.htm
In other words people who are dying from genetically engineered foods usually die from a high level of eosinophils which are a symptom of allergic diseases. So, people dying aren't diagnosed with dying from genetically modified food because it isn't labeled as such in the U.S. at this time. So, when people eat: corn, soybeans, tomatoes etc. they don't know it if they are genetically engineered in the U.S. and just die mysteriously within a month or so with a high Eosinophil count.
The reason I know about this is this happened to our neighbor's daughter. She survived only because her mother is an oncology Nurse and stayed on the problem until a solution was found. Her daughter lived by only eating different forms of brown rice which was the only thing she could keep down for 2 years before adding more foods back to her edible list.

Some
cancers take many years to develop and people in 1900 did not live long
enough for some of them to develop. Also cancer was not as easy to
diagnose as it is today so many "natural causes" deaths may have in fact
been due to cancers.
It is true that we are exposed to many more chemicals which have been linked to cancer than were around in 1900. Life expectancy in 1900 was 50 years. Now it is into the 70's and 80's with many more living to 90's or even 100's. You should still try to eat as fresh and varied a diet as you can and avoid sodas, coffee, simple sugars, etc and get fresh air and exercise. Despite the report on cancer, people are living longer. http://www.efmoody.com/estate/lifeexpectancy.html
