why I write
The world and all humanity stand or fall together. Though I might be very taken with growing up in the U.S. and think this is the best country on Earth, all of you who live in countries around the world might feel the same as I do about your countries. But, what strikes me the most is my realization that the whole human race of Earth (and not just a part of it) actually will decide together whether we as a Globe of humanity all survive or fall together. So, as important as nations are to survival and to identity, even more important is the whole of all 7 billion of us. And unless we are all enough on the same page in understanding our problems and creating useful solutions, none of us will survive. So, it is in trying to create a global way of thinking about problems and how to all solve these problems together that I write. Because "United we stand and divided we fall" and this potential fall because of nuclear weapons is permanent and is called extinction. So, I write to prevent the extinction of the human race. As long as we all can find ways to work together and live together we likely will be innovative enough to survive as a race of humanity here on Earth. I hope it isn't just one man and one woman left at some point having to go colonize another planet because this one is done. So, working together keeps all our children alive on into the future.
