If you actually read world news in addition to local or state or national news you see the world slowly, "Going to hell in a handbasket". But, if you actually think about what is really happening what is going on could be summed up in saying, "We can no longer feed enough of mankind to prevent wars starting over this."
So, here it comes then, all the wars caused directly by droughts, floods, weather and the inability to grow enough food for enough people so they don't get irritated and start killing each other and starting wars caused by lack of food and people freaking out both poor and rich worldwide about this.
If you can see that most of this (including the Arab Spring and Syria) was basically caused by too many people and not enough food or jobs (the two are related) then you see the future of this century of increased Global Climate change as it gets exponentially worse and watch thousands and then millions of people die directly and indirectly from these causes.
We no longer live in times of plenty in regard to affordable food worldwide. We do however, live in times of plenty in regard to technology. But, when people are starving often less evolved people use technology to kill the starving angry masses. (Just study history to see what happened in the past).
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
