The Republican National Convention is sounding like the scariest place on earth

With the petition to allow guns on private citizens there it is a very difficult place for the Republican party to be because many Republicans are "Open Carry" advocates from around the states, especially the more western states some of which are Open carry

OPEN CARRY: What this means is that if you are registered to have a weapon you can wear it holstered or wear a rifle sometimes over your shoulder in public.

If you have ever been around people much with loaded weapons that you don't know who aren't soldiers or police this can be a little unsettling at best.

I remember just walking through a mall in New Delhi and some non-uniformed guys with Kalashnikovs came walking by and I did not feel comfortable about this at all.

Of course in India in 1985 and 1986 bank guards had double barreled shotguns too to prevent bank robberies. So, this was a part of how India was then.

Any way you look at it I wouldn't want to go to the Republican National Convention even if someone paid me a million dollars to go. However, it might be a great reality show to watch on TV 100 or 1000 or more miles away as long as you can stand to watch blood letting and possibly people dying there.
