A friend of mine was telling me about going for 18 treatments to the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix (I believe this is also where John McCain was treated for his brain cancer recently. If you are wondering about the blood above his left eyebrow dried it is where they went into his brain recently to remove a tumor there.
So, now, they don't also remove Prostates either (if they get to them in time) because the problem can be metasticizing Prostate cancers like happened to my father from 1980 to 1985. In 1984 he had his prostate, bladder and one of his kidneys removed and then died one year later from bone cancer where it had metasticized to.
So, in order for this treatment to work you have to hit it fast and early to kill the cancer cells likely with specific radiation and chemotherapy. My neighbor says 18 treatments over 1 month and a half should do the trick to get him well.
And by the way this is covered by Medicare (if you are old enough to get this kind of coverage) as well.
(over 65).
places where this is now done:
Mayo Clinic phoenix, Arizona
Yorba Linda
Scripps San Diego
This treatment requires no surgery for prostate cancer.
Likely there are more places than this in U.S. and Europe. This is just for the Southwestern U.S.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
