Every big bank on earth has been so burned by Trump's financial dealings in Bank losses around the world that there is only one bank left that will even consider loaning Trump money at all, which is Deutche Bank in Germany. And Putin (the richest man on earth) basically controls what Deutche bank does because all his oligarchs only bank there pretty much if they are not in Russia. So, Putin tells Deutche bank to loan Trump money. IF Putin doesn't do this Trump is out of the real estate business and possibly bankrupt.
If you are a businessman and NO ONE ONE Earth is crazy enough to loan you money because you have financially ripped off all the major banks on earth already, what would you be willing to do to continue to have a place to borrow money to do more business?
Think about this if you want to buy a home or car or anything or own a business. Trump is a Russian asset because he is basically out of business without Putin and Deutche bank, forever. So, yes Trump is a Russian asset because if he weren't his whole family would already be out of business forever because of Trump's bad dealings with banks already worldwide.
