My point of view would be that Trump was mentally ill before he was elected.
My first statement might be that anyone who wants to be president is mentally ill. But, that's also sort of a joke too.
But, the real question would be: "Is Narcissistic personality disorder" a mental illness?
Yes. is the answer to this question.
But, does it mean you are a danger to yourself and others?
If you weren't president you could have Narcissistic Personality Disorder like Trump does and not be a danger to yourself and others. But, Hitler had Narcissistic Personality Disorder too.
One of the problem of Narcissistic Personality disorder is that it can make a person sociopathic like it has Trump because a person with this type of disorder has no Empathy for the pain of others at all. A person with this disorder can Feign having empathy but in reality does not and this is what is dangerous the most in a world leader with this mental illness.
So, is Trump Mentally Ill? Yes. He was since before he was elected.
Is he dangerous?
Yes. At this point he is far more dangerous than the head of any Drug Cartel on earth.
Why?
Because there are no medications or therapies that can presently cure ANY of the types of personality disorders as of yet.
And since this is also true we have a mentally ill president who has no empathy for human pain in the White House and this should at the very least give everyone Pause and most people with empathy for others likely would be terrified about now.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
