You might say: "How?"
The best way to answer that would be that I changed a lot after receiving this 4 day initiation along with my wife and children then in Bodhgaya, India.
Some of the changes:
I began to see the whole world differently after meeting hundreds of Tibetan Buddhists from India, Nepal, Tibet, and throughout Asia. It was a revelation for me to see a religion other than Christianity where people were so sincere and devout and thinking of others all the time. It blew my mind that people didn't have to believe in God (at least in the way people do in the U.S.) to have amazing spiritual lives. So, spirituality took on different meanings to me. However, I still believe in God but recognize that it is possible to not believe in God and yet be kind and to pray for others all the time.
So, this opened my mind to be better able to pray for and to bless all life in the universe in my life.
Also, 25% of Buddhists still believe in God like I do ,and many priests and ministers are also Buddhists because to Christians, Buddhism is not a religion but rather a philosophy of Goodness and kindness and a wonderful way to treat all living beings in the whole universe.

To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
