Margot Robbie is in this one and I remembered seeing her in "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" which was written and produced by Tarantino so I thought this one might be interesting to which it is.
It's actually a true story that was written by the little girl in the movie about 20 years after it happened.
It takes place during the Dust Bowl of the 1930s (I believe it's 1935). I found this movie sort of engrossing and watching simply because it shows how a naive farm boy could be influenced by a pretty young woman in this way.
It's also interesting because it's actually a true story that the little girl in the movie witnessed and wrote about maybe when she was in her late 20s? maybe. They said she wrote this 20 years later and I'm not sure what age for sure she was in this movie. I'd say somewhere between 9 and 12 years old right in there. Her brother Eugene looks to be around 17 or 18 around there. And you could see by the way it is done that she actually lived during these times because of the way people talked and acted which is different than later on after I was born. I remember 1950 to 1952 when I was little so I remember stuff within 13 years of this time but in Seattle Washington from about 1950 to 1952 when I was there. For example, there were no signal lights like green, yellow and red yet. They had in Seattle only moving arm train signals that said either Stop or go as they moved and so often people would crash without a yellow caution light in between the Go and the Stop train arms moving in place of Traffic lights like today. By the way this is a very adult kind of movie and not really for kids because of the subject matter and nudity in the movie.
