Why is the Galaxy worried about human extinction on earth?

There is a way the galaxy does things where a planet is allowed to self destruct it's ecology (temporarily) which might extinct (temporarily) all life upon it. It is thought to be a process of a culture on any planet being allowed to Grow up.

However, civilizations sometimes self destruct in this process much like teenagers left to their own devices might also self destruct and be no more. So, this is the danger from a Galactic point of view at least.

Now we have created (as a world civilization) Global Climate changes which will increase (no matter what humans do) for around 300 years (even if we stop all carbon pollution in the air and water of earth right now.

So, what humans have done so far (just the burning of carbons alone) for things like slash and burn techniques for the last 25,000 years as well as burning fossil fuels like gasoline and diesel as well as chemical pollution like lead and mercury in the waters so they pollute the bodies of fish so often when people eat sea fish too much they get poisoned over time and die around the world from the lead and mercury in fish in the ocean especially. (Which is why 99% of the time I won't eat fish from the sea).

However, once a year I might have "Fish and Chips" British style or Lobster because once in a great while that might be a nice change. However, I know because of all the pollution in the ocean not to eat sea fish very much. And now Japan just dumped nuclear waste water from Fukushima into the ocean as well because of the meltdown at Fukushima, Japan in 2011.

So, any fish caught near Japan might also be radiated to a greater or lesser degree and have high amounts of radiation in their flesh when people eat them. So, people could get radiation poisoning (theoretically) from fish they eat from near Japan.

But, the point here is that humans have self destructed to some degree already. So, whoever survives the next few centuries (next 300 years)  if anyone, is likely going to be less nice than the 20th and the 21 century have been simply because it will be more of a struggle for survival than the 20th and 21st century have been to even survive over much of Earth.

So, what I have to say here is as an intuitive Most governments will tend to Collapse by 2050 to 2070 around the world because of chaos and starvation and so many dying from Global Climate changes.

But, the very worst problem will be the winds in the forms of Hurricanes, tornadoes, etc.

This is what people are going to have the hardest time surviving. I also believe we will have only 7/8 as many people on earth by 2100 AD as well.

So, as the number of people reduces significantly you are going to see many changes mostly not good (from a polite or civilization standpoint) happening around the world.

In order to survive people (as groups) won't be able to be as nice or as co-operative as they are now and survive.

So, tribal units or small families will be much more "on their own" without governments in the future of earth which makes survival for everyone more difficult.

This is why "The Alien War" is taking place to try to preserve a few governments like the U.S., the EU, Russia and China, so at least there is SOME order for civilizations to continue here on earth during the next few hundred years.
