He spoke of how it's only about 1 mile to the nearest paved road which means that motorhomes and larger vehicles are stuck in the mud whereas lighter 4 wheel drives and all wheel drives might still be able to work their way out by slipping and sliding through the muck and wet clay. So, since it is ONLY one mile to the nearest paved road I think we might not see anymore casualties of people dying because of this situation.

In listening to a local county official talk about Burning man I actually have hopes now that there won't be anymore casualties. Why?
