It's likely one of the hotter places in north Central California a little bit inland from the coast. another place like this is Morgan Hill which is also going to 104 today it says. presently it's 103 so far.
Redding 100 presently
Fresno 99 presently
Sacramento 100 presently
Bakersfield 101 presently
Los Angeles 87 presently
San Francisco 93 presently
By the way it's very very unusual for San Francisco to be hotter than Los Angeles on any given day during the year because San Francisco is not only 400 miles to the north Los Angeles is a little inland where as San Francisco is on a peninsula right out into the ocean so it tends to be cloudy and foggy a lot especially during the summers. Whereas you can usually be safe most days during the year to expect Los Angeles to be sunny except when it's raining which might happen any time from October to June of any year because Los Angeles is a little inland from the ocean. So, unless you are in malibu or Santa Monica or Palos Verdes which are right on the ocean Los Angeles is usually almost always sunnier and hotter than San Francisco on any given day of the year. It's hot mostly because of off shore breezes (blowing out from the land onto the ocean) which is the reverse of what happens normally most days of the year. However, in the fall it can do this and also the Santana Winds are more normal too which can bring forest fires and grass fires especially to places like Malibu canyon where fires sometimes burn all the way to the ocean through million dollar homes every few years and residents have to hide in the ocean so they aren't burned up. So, if they can breathe through all the smoke then they survive.
