Kindness towards oneself and all life in the Universe. This is the essence of enlightenment right there.
All life in the universe watches us in our minds and what we do with our bodies. Many things like Rocks and Trees are much older than us so they see us sort of like wayward children learning free will. In some ways they both love us and fear us very much like parents raising teenagers who are confused for awhile often growing up and often don't survive their confusion.
So, Life watches us as humans what we do with all our power to physically change things and if we choose to love and to cherish and to help all life in the universe they might just help us stay alive and be like Wise Grandparents to all life in the universe.
This is what enlightenment is really like everywhere in the universe for all living beings.
