Because Trump wants absolute loyalty from everyone on earth this isn't going to happen. So, it's possible Trump is just so short Sighted that he may destroy NATO and all the good it has done since world War II.
Loyalty is a two way street there really is no useful loyalty unless it goes both ways. It never does that with Trump who thinks of himself as "the King of Earth" now.
