Transformation
There has been a strangeness to this decade since 9-11. It started from the beginning to remind me a lot of the 1930s even starting on 9-11. There has just been a feeling to it all that we were going down that same path 70 years later that my parents and grandparents warned me about. The first similarity was the insanity and craziness of people flying planes into the World Trade Center Buildings. Then the stock market crash On October 11, 2008 that eventually took us to 7114.78 a few months later in 2009. The changes in the U.S. and the world may just be beginning. In the last blog article the Anger of the rich was documented. However, the real problem I think is that the world has changed and the ground has been pulled out from under the American Dream by Globalization. And the rich are just the last to feel it's impact. I'm concerned about the craziness of U.S. and world politics and with Globalization capitalists angry and afraid it could get much more chaotic worldwide than now because of the destabliizing effects of Corporate fascism on real and useful news worldwide. Without useful news governments could collapse from lies fostered by corporations or some nations manipulating the news for profit even though citizens of developed countries starve in the process. This could set up a French revolution kind of scenario even here in the United States. Since truth is important it is important now that all citizens of Earth in all nations stand up for truth and not accept corporate imitations of truth for monetary gain instead. The survival of the nation state and of civilization could hang in the balance in times like these. The veneer of civilization is very thin and appears to be weakening. Without civilization in place it could get very bad.
