To read this news article click "Restore Children's Play" above.
Things like Playing develop a child's brain, help him or her to learn to better interact with adults later by interacting with the children he or she is playing with. In addition, learning to sing and play a musical instrument develops special parts of the brain, especially in children up to 12 years of age and beyond. Art of almost any kind also helps in brain and conceptual development.
Studies have shown playing helps people be better adjusted and better able to deal with all kinds of situations better as adults, especially interpersonal relationships at work, play, and in personal relationships with friends and spouses.
