Look carefully at the problem we are seeing in the horn of Africa. Because of climate change worldwide I expect to see things like this in other parts of the undeveloped world as well as droughts and floods take away the capacity of developing countries to survive the times we live in worldwide.
For example, right now the children starving coming out of Somalia, even if they survive if they are between birth and 12 years of age their brains will never develop properly and they will be a constant burden to their families and to their societies for as long as they live. This is much more serious for that area than it would be in Welfare states like in Europe or North America because the children of Somalia that are permanently mentally deficient from starvation will either be a burden upon their families for life or have to live by crime. So what we are now seeing is a vicious cycle downward for that area until rains come and once again bring life to that region. And even then there has been no order or useful government in Somalia for over 20 years since the Somalia Mafias took over the country around that time. If you want to see how Somalia got this way just Watch a DVD of the true story of "Blackhawk Down" which was an attempt by the U.S. to bring order and government back to Somalia. Though it was a failed effort by the U.S. and the international community at that time during the 1990s you will begin to understand just how terrible and awful the plight of the average Somalian has been ever since those times without a real government to protect the average citizen there. It is one of the reasons Al Qaeda has moved into Somalia and is creating havoc there as well. As long as the drought remains it is likely these problems will harm all surrounding nations to Somalia in various ways including Yemen.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
