Though I'm sure many of you have your own theories about what is actually going on here is mine. Though you might approach this through a different lens or philosophy than I here is my approach.
First of all, the natural state for anything alive is being rather than physical existence. So, the way I would look at it is that Time and Space are sort of like a Wave on the ocean that we ride. Space is the Ocean itself and time is the energy of the wave itself as it moves through the ocean. So, each of us for a moment ride on the wave of time and space. But after all since our natural state is pure being rather than time and space it is a lot like a surfer riding a good wave, eventually we have to go back to pure being and remember riding the wave.
So, someone not riding the wave in time and space would be a lot like someone on the beach watching someone surf a wave. They might be thrilled by watching the person riding the wave or have any kind of reaction at all or no kind of reaction or they might even be looking or thinking in another direction entirely. Some, might not even believe the wave or waves of time and space exist at all. So, in other words living in time and space isn't the natural state for living things but rather an exceptional or temporary thing for all living things. And in the end we all return to our natural state which is pure being without time and space. So, from this point of view time and space are but the rules of a game we are all playing, just like getting on a surf board is another game that people sometimes play.
When I had an experience of talking to God one day in my early 20s, God put it like this, "Life is a game, but it is a serious game. So there are really only two sins. The first is taking life too seriously and the second is not taking life seriously enough." Either extreme causes death. But a life lived in balance and seen as a serious game is a life well lived. After I spoke with God about this I began to see that the ancient Greeks had something when they said, "Everything in Moderation." Also, it made me interested in the "Middle Way" of Buddhism sometimes called "Lam Rim" where balance and harmony is stressed as a path towards enlightenment.
If there is one thing I have witnessed my whole life it is that extremism in the form of both religion and politics kills. So, trying to find a path of balance that actually works, a path of kindness and wisdom appears to be a path that leads more to a happy long life than anything else for everyone.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
