Jules Verne, Robert Heinlein, Isaac Asimov, and others have their own Prophets of Science Fiction program of one hour in length or about 40 minutes excluding commercials. If you grew up like I did from age 10 (1958) reading Heinlein, Asimov and every thing they wrote from then on, then you might appreciate these programs as much as I do. What was always amazing about writers like Jules Verne (Submarines), Asimov(robotics) and Heinlein(interplanetary travel and warfare between planets and psychic stuff) (Starship Troopers) and (Stranger in a Strange Land), was that they all seemed to have a scientific background, so when they wrote it wasn't just some silly unrealistic book about the future, it was also always something plausible from present day science and psychology of humans and potential robots and potential aliens. So, you were always on the edge of your seat but everything they all wrote about was plausible. So you could actually see the potentiality of everything they wrote about actually happening one day. (And much of what they wrote about has been invented now or is just about to be.
So, when I write I combine scientific reality with intuition and experiences I have had or am having in order to share with you what you likely will find in your futures.
Anyway, for an amazing experience looking at how they saw the future (much of which has come to pass since Sputnik in 1957), you can see how they were prophets of the future. There is a one hour program for Asimov, Jules Verne, Heinlein, and George Lucas each available at the science Channel HD on TV.
