Here on the Northern California coast even when the sun is out it has been relatively cold lately. For example, I'm just waking up around 7 am and the temperature is about 51 and in nearby inland valleys it is 44 degrees fahrenheit and daytime temperatures won't be above 56 degrees. So, even for the northern California coast that is sort of cold for this time of year when the sun is out and before the fog comes in for most of the summer usually.
It is why Mark Twain once said, "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco".
So, on the northern California coast the best weather usually is in the spring and fall. It is rare on the coast to have good weather during the summers on the northern Coast. But, it is also why we have redwood trees and ferns growing wild here in the forests too.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
