Unbelievable levels of Hacking at Sochi in Russia

Richard Engel of NBC News took a computer tech familiar with tracking hacking to Sochi with him to demonstrate just how bad the hacking is there.

He then brought a new Macbook pro (AIR?) or maybe two of these. The first one was hacked within one minute.

They had installed a fake network of people surrounding Richard Engel where only his name was for real on this computer. Any information regarding anything on your phones, Ipads, laptop computers or any wireless computer device (or even ones you plug into internet system will be hacked within minutes in Sochi).

So, the best results for you if you are going there is not to take devices with you and to not contact anyone you know here in the U.S. on your personal devices in any way. I suppose you could go to an internet cafe and contact your loved ones, but that also has risks because you don't know if the owners of that cafe are hackers as well or their friends. (Often both are true in foreign countries because it would be so very profitable for them and there are no penalties at all to hack foreigners.

In other words, any information or money they steal from you while you are in Sochi or even after you return with infected devices the people in Russia (or surrounding areas will NEVER be brought to justice for it ever) because there just aren't laws like that in Russia or the Ukraine.

The worst possible most vulnerable thing you could take to Sochi would be any Smartphone like an Iphone or an Android. These would be the two most dangerous things to take and to use while there for your safety. It isn't just your finances that would be put at risk but also your very life and safety while there or after you return as well as all members of your family both here in the U.S. or while visiting Russia.
