The weathermen and women predicted 4 to 8 inches of rain hitting the Santa Lucia range. I'm looking at the radar of it starting to hit and that is exactly where the biggest rain cells are headed at present.
However, this thing goes from about Tijuana in Mexico to Santa Rosa in Northern California so this is a very big storm. Many people are worried about getting just too much rain too fast in several places in California, especially where new fires have just hit. I'm a little worried about the fire they just had in Big Sur which might cause damage there as well as the fire in Glendora in Southern California. Both places might have a difficult time because of all the bare earth with so much rain coming in at once.
However, despite all that California so desperately needs the rain at this point that we will take whatever we can get in rain at this point.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
