The only important thing to him it seems is that the collapse of the Soviet Union was the greatest Tragedy of the 20th Century. And of course, the Western World holds the completely opposite view.
This is a test between those who loved the Soviet Union and those who hated the Soviet Union.
This is more about what this is about regarding Putin than anything else. He wishes to regain the greatness of the old Soviet or Russian empire once again and everyone who disagrees with him in his own country and around the world are standing in his way in one way or another. So, in the end is Putin crazy enough to take it to nuclear missiles? That still remains to be seen.
