Iran's Khamenei: Warns of price to pay of supporting extremist Sunni Muslim Groups

To make some sense of this Iran is Shia Muslim. What is happening in Syria is a Sectarian War now (Proxy) between Shias and Sunni Muslims. By Iran hiring Sunni Extremists to support the Shia cause it will eventually undermine and possibly end all Shias in the long run. I think this is what he is saying.

Tehran (AFP) - Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Monday warned regional countries of the "high price" they would eventually pay for supporting extremist Sunni Muslim groups fighting Tehran's key ally Syria.
Shiite Iran is a staunch supporter of President Bashar al-Assad's regime in its struggle against mostly Sunni rebels backed by Arab nations and Western powers.
Khamenei made the comments during a meeting with the visiting Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad Al-Sabah whose trip to Tehran has been widely seen as an attempt to warm up the frosty ties between Iran and Sunni-ruled monarchies in the Gulf.
"Unfortunately, some regional countries do not take heed of the danger of Takfiri groups which will threaten them in future and they are still backing these groups," the leader's website khamenei.ir reported.
Takfiri is a synonymous term Iranian officials use for Sunni extremists.
"Some of the regional countries are backing the Takfiri groups and supporting their massacres and crimes in Syria," said Khamenei.
"Eventually these countries will be forced to eradicate these extremists, with a high price," Khamenei added.
Syrian opposition groups and Western countries have accused Tehran of supplying Damascus with military and financial backing.
Iran says it only has military experts on the ground in Syria and that it is providing the Assad regime with humanitarian assistance.

Iran's Khamenei warns supporters of Sunni extremists

I was wrong in my original assessment of this article. What he is actually doing is warning Sunni leaders not to support these takfiri because they will undermine and possibly end both Sunni governments as well as Shia Governments in the Middle East as they gain in power. However, what I find strange here is that this is sort of like talking out of both sides of his mouth because Assad (a Shia) also pays Sunni extremists to kill Syrian Rebels. So, it could be said that all sides are making a mistake that could END the Muslim religion being respected in relation to any government in the middle east because these extremist Groups like ISIS, ISIL and Al Qaeda will destroy everything in their paths sort of like Locusts in a plague out of the Bible by beheading everyone they meet that isn't as crazy as they are.
