YOUTUBE/TEXAS HEALTH RESOURCESWASHINGTON -- The first nurse diagnosed with Ebola after treating an infected man at a Dallas hospital is free of the virus.The National Institutes of Health says in a statement that Nina Pham is being released Friday from its hospital near Washington.NIH spokesman John Burklow says Pham will make a brief statement during a news conference late this morning.The 26-year-old Pham arrived last week at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. She had been flown there from Texas Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas.Pham and nurse Amber Vinson became infected with Ebola while treating Thomas Eric Duncan, who died of the virus Oct. 8.Officials at Emory University Hospital and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention couldn't detect Ebola in Vinson as of Tuesday evening, her family said in a statement released through a media consultant. Doctors usually do two tests a day apart before saying they can't detect the virus. It's unclear how many tests Vinson has had.- end quote from:
