The way they said they came up with the figure 142 years for people was the restricted diet that they gave mice. When they "slightly starved" mice but gave them a minimum of what they needed for life they lived the longest they lived is what equates to 142 years in humans. So, this diet is what took them to 142 years. However, this likely is what most actors feel all the time, "Hungry". So, living with feeling hungry all the time doesn't sound like much fun unless you are getting paid millions of dollars for doing this like the top 30 to 50 best actors in the world are. However, there are likely pills you can take which make you feel like you aren't hungry too and hopefully those don't have any bad side affects either.
