What this means is first of all the snow is beautiful covering all parked cars and trucks, but now it is also sticking on the ground. So, be careful if you are driving up from Redding towards Oregon or south from Ashland towards Redding on Interstate 5. Because the way it looks it's going to be real slippery either way on Interstate 5 at least for the next hour or two.
Also, this might mean they might make you chain up over Mt. Ashland pass which is the highest elevation on Interstate 5 this far north.
