As I read the previous article and found out that Jesus' baptism site has been closed because of 5,000 mines since 1967 my only reaction could be: "What?"
Because it seems incongruous that this could go on this long.
However, first of all, Israel is a Jewish nation and not a Christian one, and I could see how Jewish and Islamics and Christians all might have issues around something like this especially because the 1967 war was so contentious in the Middle East. Israel won this war but there have been mostly bad feelings all around ever since. So, I could see how this could happen. But, "What?" is my reaction to all this as I am looking back from America at Israel and the Middle East.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
