But it didn't come about and get created until 1913 which lessened the impact of the Great Depression and really really lessened the impact of the Great Recession starting around 2008. Though the really rich don't like the federal Reserve system sometimes, the average person only benefits from it's ongoing existence and millions of bankruptcies from financial crises are prevented by the Federal Reserve Systems actions across the board over the years by their actions.
So, it is the common man who benefits the most from the Federal Reserve System so more of them aren't ruined every year than are on average already.
