You might not be able to practice here in the U.S.
For example, my physical trainer was a Physician's assistant trained in Germany but when she came to the U.S. that credential isn't recognized here so she became a physical trainer instead because she wanted to live in the U.S. The same is true with Nursing, Law and being a doctor and other kinds of certifications received in other countries. So, if you want this kind of credentialing be careful of going to other countries to study if you wish to work and live here in the U.S. after doing that.
However, the study abroad program where in one's sophomore or junior year from a U.S. university or college is also possible and you still receive a U.S. credential even though a year of it was accomplished overseas often.
