Religion is not about truth. Religion is about myths much like watching Disney movies for kids. It's not that anything religions believe is scientifically true. It's stories that bind groups of people together so they don't murder each other. By believing in similar stories cultural groups of people share enough to keep each other alive and don't murder each other so much.
This is what religion is all about. But, it's never about the truth.
Truth is ONLY found in philosophy enquiry of asking questions.
Religions don't allow most useful questions and this is how you know they are not scientific by only mythological like watching Disney movies.
So, from my point of view Religions are about culture in people's lives not truth. It's shared cultural beliefs and myths people share.
Truth is found only through direct experience and philosophical enquiry.
To expect anything else is to die before your time.
The universe in the end is scientific but the problem is Science is also a religion and an opiate of the people.
So, what do you do with all that?
But, truth regarding all things is best found through philosophic enquiry which is where all the sciences began in places like ancient Greece with Socrates and Plato and Aristotle.
To live to old age and to be happy you have to ask the right questions otherwise you tend to die very young like the tombstone adage very common up until 1900 of:
"Born died 20 Buried 60".
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
