Also, when my friends arrived on a different flight we didn't see them as their shuttle came in late until we all woke up this morning in the 2 bedroom condo we rented. So, since the resort has a snorkeling area we all got ready and went to snorkel about 10 am local time (1pm PDT). But, since it was raining pretty good I took off my bermuda shorts before I went out into it because I didn't want the rain to ruin my leather belt and put it in my backpack and just walked to the beach in the rain barefoot on the paths because crocs aren't good in wet because they can be slippery on wet things.
The waves were at least 5 feet high so where we snorkeled we had to be very careful and the lifeguard in the cove asked people to swim in that had gotten caught in the bad riptide (mostly snorkelers). I was smart and grabbed an anchor chain float chain so I could still see the huma human nuka nuka apuaa go swimming by. Also, saw angelfish and parrotfish so far today too. some of the bigger fish were trying to threaten some snorkelers but you sort of have to stand your ground (in other words) do nothing and don't be afraid because fish sense fear like other animals do to. If you are not afraid then they tend to be more afraid of you which might be good regarding never getting bit by a fish (especially parrotfish that eat coral anyway). Parrot fish won't put up with a lot so this is something to think about if you like your fingers and toes the way they are.
Remember, it's their world and you are just visiting as a snorkeler so be polite.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
