Venom is a Marvel Comics character who becomes infected by a extraterrestrial Symbiote parasite. The parasite finds a good home in the human he finds. You might think this is a horror movie but actually it is more of a Marvel comics movie like spider man or something like that. However, it is very intense and difficult to watch sometimes when Venom bites people's heads off for example, so be careful what age group you have watching this. Maybe watch it yourself first if you aren't sure who should be watching this in your family.
I didn't watch it when it first came out but my wife went to see it with a family friend and loved the movie because sometimes it is funny. But, it is also pretty intense. So, I finally watched it last night with my wife because she recommended it to me.
