There are few places in California where people aren't suffocating in the smoke these days but luckily I'm in one of them up in Mt. Shasta. It seems like most of northern California from about Carmel north to Lake Berryessa is an inferno or has so much smoke that people can't breathe outside. But, luckily this year at least Mt. Shasta is a refuge so far.
However, 2 year ago this time I had to leave Mt. Shasta the day after July 4th because of the smoke and my friends told me there was smoke for 40 days straight which was really awful then. But, this year at least (so far) we are fine here in light to no smoke at all.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
