The idea that Trump would advocate something that comes from one of the most poisonous plants in California is kind of frightening actually.
The first white people knew about it was likely Kit Carson's group when he was in California in the early 1800s. Some one picked up a stick when cooking food on a campfire and one or all in this party died from eating the food just by using an Oleander stick for stirring the food.
Californians plant it often in freeway meridians because everything dies that eats it. In fact, my wife wants our gardener in Santa Barbara to take an Oleander plant out so our dog doesn't chew on it and die. Calle lillies and oleander can easily kill your dog if he or she even chews on them once. So, any bug that eats it dies and insects that eat it die any mammal that eats it dies including humans or any bird that eats oleander dies immediately. So, the two plants Californians are taught to stay away from usually while growing up here the most are oleander and poison Oak.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
