Covid and Global Climate change is killing so many people now in the South in places like Louisiana, Florida and Texas that it makes sense why people want to be carrying loaded guns now like in the wild west once again.
It's true many people have sort of gone PTSD insane from being isolated indoors so much. Streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu and Disney Plus and Apple plus and all the others have made a lot of money because of these changes. But, generally now people have become more crazy a lot and so because of this many want to be carrying loaded guns wherever they are in the U.S. because of this sort of like the Wild West once again.
And I think this point of view is just going to spread now a lot across the U.S.
Is this a good thing or a bad thing? I think it's both just like it was 150 years ago too.
People carried weapons because there was no law most western places to protect them or the law there was owned (literally) by rich miners or ranchers in that locality so there literally was no useful law.
So, Covid and climate change is creating things like they were 150 years ago in some respects as more people die from all causes, more people go into grief and denial of lost loved ones, so actually wearing a loaded gun might be useful in some areas just to keep crazy people from killing law abiding ones.
However, I see the whole thing and our regression as a country back to the 1870s as sort of sad in the extreme.
