I don't know what Senator Sanders has been smoking but his idealism I don't believe is going to work here

After listening to him I see the whole thing is a mess and it won't work and he is having progressives in the House Vote against the 1.2 trillion dollar infrastructure package that the Senate already voted for. This to me means there is no infrastructure package and there will be no 3.5 trillion dollar infrastructure package either.

However, there is good news even though I believe both infrastructure bills won't pass now from everything I'm hearing Schumer has found a way to prevent the government shutdown.

So, at least the world economy isn't going to collapse right now because the Senate found some way around the problem for now.

My question is this: "Is Sanders killing the Biden Administration so Sanders can run for president in 2024 and maybe win?" This to me is the ONLY real reason why he would kill the 1.2 Trillion dollar infrastructure bill like he is personally doing even after the Senate already passed it.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer announced Wednesday night that an agreement to keep the government funded and prevent a government shutdown has been reached.

"We have an agreement on the C.R. — the continuing resolution — to prevent a government shutdown, and we should be voting on that tomorrow morning," he said on the Senate floor. The majority leader said he hopes to hold a vote on final passage by midday — hours before government funding would have run out, at midnight Thursday.

The short-term government funding bill would keep federal agencies operating through December 3, but it does not address the looming deadline to raise the debt ceiling to avoid U.S. default. The bill includes $6.3 billion for relocation efforts for Afghan refugees, as well as $28.6 billion for disaster assistance following a spate of devastating hurricanes and wildfires.

Congress hoping to pass funding bill ahead of government shutdown

Once the bill passes in the Senate, the House will take it up, so it can then be sent to President Biden to sign before government funding expires.
