Even someone like myself who thought he had seen everything is worried about what is coming next. I had heard about Hitler and Stalin and Mao but by the time I went to school in 1953 first Stalin and Hitler were dead? So, I just researched it and yes Stalin died when I was in Kindergarten that year.
I wish I could compare this to the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962 which I think was the scariest thing the world went through along with the Kennedy assassination.
The Kennedy assassination was bad because remember we were in the middle of the Cold war when Kennedy was assassinated. Then soon after that Khrushchev was removed from power in Russia because
they believed he had something to do with Kennedy being
assassinated.
However, what we are witnessing now is straight out of Hitler's Panzer blitzkrieg across Europe where he took Poland and went all the way to the ocean in France before the English Channel stopped him before he took England too. Being surrounded by water like England and the U.S. are (the U.S. has North, South and Central America but oceans on all sides which has protect the U.S. up to now and made it too expensive for anyone but the British to try to invade in any serious way.
So, I'm worried we will see Putin drive his tanks all the to the ocean in France too at this point like Hitler did. After all, What's to really stop him outside of nuclear weapons? And nuclear weapons could be the end of the Earth (as in turning it into another asteroid belt like what happened to Maldek which became the asteroid belt 65 million years ago. Putin so far is playing an excellent game of Chicken.
I presently believe Putin might not stop until the beaches at Normandy, France much like Hitler.
