Here's the thing:

IF small businesses don't pass on the increasing costs of their products and services then they can no longer stay in business themselves.

It's a chain reaction event that is happening not just here in the U.S. but all over the world. If businesses don't look to their bottom line they soon cease to be in business.

It's true that non-profits that operate mostly on donations don't have to necessarily think this way as much but if you look carefully food banks across the country for example are closing often because of raising rents of their warehouses to store food even food that is being donated.

Smaller food banks run out of people's home garages for example, might still be helpful to people though if home owners or renters are willing to deal with the liability of people coming to their home to look for food nationwide and worldwide. IN other words people running food banks from their own garages or personal warehouses need to consider their liabilities with poorer people coming there for food all the time.

So, with a 40% inflation rate presently of many items literally everything around the world either is changing or soon will change because of these things.

Which likely (according to expert predictions) will lead to the biggest food shortage on earth since World War I during the next 2 years at least, especially in 3rd world nations where people are poorer and won't be able to have enough money to feed themselves.
