Though it is pretty late in the year for snow in town which is at about 3500 feet in elevation it would be normal for elevations above 4000 to 5000 feet even in April or May. My friend called me today to tell me that somewhere between 2 to 4 inches of snow had come down on his land and that it was still snowing at the time he called (which was several hours ago because now it is almost 6 pm on Monday May 9th 2022.
