And the problem is that this isn't going away but might get even worse within a few years the way these storms are now building. In the past, when it wasn't so hot not so much moisture evaporated off the Pacific Ocean and went up through the deserts of Mexico and Arizona and New Mexico in the past.
However, with more heat everywhere this is no longer true and it's likely that in future summers this could get worse and worse from the easterly winds combined with the summer monsoon rains.
