For example, if I ever bought a hybrid or electric car or truck the very first thing I would do would be to install lead shielding completely surrounding the passenger compartments of the vehicle. You especially need shielding between you and any electric motors (you and the passengers) because when the motors are used they are spewing one degree of electromagnetic radiation or another 360 degrees in every direction. this is also true in hybrids when electricity is generated because a generator and an electric motor are basically the same thing. The only real difference is the generator is spun by some other force to make electricity like water or gasoline or diesel power and the electric motor receives the power through a battery or a generator. This is the only really big difference between a generator and an electric motor.
