It has been raining off and on for at least 2 days now which is good. It likely is one of the larger storms so far to hit Northern California, Oregon and Washington and points east.
I woke up this morning having drained my hot tub yesterday to one of our deck chairs blown over. I had intended to get up early to move deck chairs off our deck so they didn't blow into windows or Sliding Glass doors off our deck. Two of the chairs stayed locked behind our glass outdoor table up against a railing and another one was sort of locked in place another way too. So, only one deck chair blowing over in a place that didn't cause harm was good. They said winds of up to 30 mph would occur locally but I think here it might have been only around 20 mph at most in gusts this morning along with the wind.
However, every night there have been amazing sunsets for the last month or more which is good too. I have taken pictures of many of the sunsets and relayed them to family and friends around the world because they have been so beautiful. The sunsets have reminded me a lot of the amazing sunsets in Hawaii too except it's much colder here than that but usually the daytime weather Highs aren't below about 60 or 55. So, year around where I live here on the coast near San Francisco the temperatures during the daytime usually average 60 to 71 most days of the year with nights colder. The coldest I think it has been so far because of the Pacific Ocean next to us is around 44 degrees so far this winter. So, it is a relatively pleasant place to live temperature wise too here on the ocean.
